FRIENDSHIP · HORSES · SHARED KNOWLEDGE

Working together.
Bringing riders on.

Jo works closely with her best friend, racehorse trainer Karen Jewell, on the training of racehorses and helping people learn to ride them.

It is a partnership that brings together their love of horses and the day-to-day work of developing both horse and rider — from time in the school to riding on the gallops.

A RIDER’S EXPERIENCE

An amazing teacher.
An even lovelier person.

“Jo is an absolutely amazing teacher. Her passion for horses and for helping people shines through in everything she does. She is warm, lovely and incredibly intelligent, with a real gift for explaining things in a way that makes sense.

In partnership with Karen Jewell, Jo has taken me from not riding at all to riding around the gallops in less than six months, learning on PG and Vogue. That progress says so much about their teaching, patience and encouragement. What I love most is how much she cares — about the horse, the rider and every little step forward. Her knowledge, patience and encouragement make time in the saddle so rewarding. I feel very lucky to be taught by her and can’t recommend her highly enough.”
